TAG, ENJAH MYSTERIO! YOU ARE IT!

She says: "I am one of those people that hardly ever finds anything cool in second hand shops or at tag sales, either I get there too late, or I go to the wrong one and then a friend will come over and say, "Look what I found!" and it's some really neat thing.

One neighbor actually bought a king sized antique cannon ball bed from a tag sale for 35.00 dollars.

The person totally hated it and wanted it out of the house.

I mean I find stuff like stained sweat shirts and old romance novels.

But, every once in a while I find something that makes me happy and convinces me to keep going back.

Also, I have finally gotten brave enough to alter things and bring out what I see in them and that is making junk shopping so much more fun.

I love to rescue books. The First Lessons In Learning To Study was printed in 1926 and there are quite a few trashed pages inside, but the majority is intact and in very good condition. I love looking at the pictures of regular every day families from that era, and the things they just took for granted, like having chickens and walking to the corner store without worrying about being shot."
